This year is the ten year anniversary of Mid Lancs Sub Aqua being formed, Lots of event have been planned to celebrate this including a sponsored underwater bike ride to raise funds for RNLI on the 28th November.
As scuba divers, we spend a lot of our time in the sea around the UK and should we ever get into difficulty, we know the RNLI will be around to help.
The RNLI is the charity that saves lives at sea. Its volunteer lifeboat crews rescue an average of 24 people every day and RNLI lifeguards provide a seasonal lifeguard service on selected beaches. The RNLI is independent from Government and relies on donations from people like you.
Mid Lancs raised in the region of £500 which is a fantastic effort by all involved.
