PRM 2013

It’s that time of year again,  as the colder weather sets in scuba diving in the sea isn’t possible so we spend our time running courses and diving at inland sites.  We run a Practical Rescue Management (PRM) course once a year or so and here are a few video clips of the course in action.

The start of the day

A couple more casualties to be rescued

We won’t name names, but this is why you shouldn’t have a massive fry up and then go diving! Nothing like a real casualty to make things more interesting 🙂

Scuba Course

Practical Rescue Management is one of the many BSAC skill development courses, we usually run this once a year.

The course involves a day of lectures and live saving skills followed by a practical day of managing rescue scenarios.  As you can see from the pictures,  it’s very hands on.

Mid Lancs meets every Tuesday night at Wigan Life centre. If you fancy popping down to see what goes on, we’re usually there between 8 and 9pm. If you’d like to give a try dive a go,  drop us a line through the contact us tab

Union Jack t-shirts are not required, the pictures were taken at the start of the Olympic games 🙂
