The Kimya Crabs: Day 1 in Anglesey ![]()

What a way to kick off the diving weekend! We couldn’t have asked for a better start at Anglesey—the sun was blazing, and the surface was like a sheet of glass. ![]()

Today was extra special as we celebrated Little Mo’s first trip back at sea! It’s so good to have her back where she belongs, cutting through the blue. ![]()

We headed out to the Kimya shipwreck, and while the surface stayed calm, the ocean had other plans once we submerged. As soon as we hit the wreck, the current decided to wake up! ![]()

But the drift was worth it because we touched down in literal Crab City.
The wreck was absolutely crawling with life—crabs in every nook, cranny, and porthole! It was a busy, bubbly, brilliant first day.
The Highlights:
Location: The Kimya Wreck, Anglesey ![]()
Conditions: Flat calm topside, spicy current below!
Vis was no more than 3 metres.
Vibe: 10/10 to have Little Mo back in action.
Wildlife: More crabs than we could count! ![]()

Day 2 in Anglesey: Pure Magic at The Skerries
If Day 1 was an introduction, Day 2 was a masterclass in why we dive. We headed out to The Skerries, and honestly? We’re still trying to process what we just witnessed.
It wasn’t just a dive site; it felt like stumbling into a hidden cove of paradise. A true sanctuary where the wild things are—and they were everywhere.
The Highlight Reel:
Dolphin Magic: We were greeted by multiple pods of dolphins playing in the wake. Seeing them that close never gets old. ![]()
Puffin Paradise: The sky and the cliffs were alive! Watching puffins fly with all their might! ![]()
Seal Encounters: Our underwater “puppies” were out in full force, curious and graceful as ever. ![]()
Marine Diversity: From the kelp forests to the smallest invertebrates, the biodiversity today was off the charts.
The Vibe:
There’s something incredibly humbling about being in a place that feels so untouched. It was one of those unforgettable experiences that reminds you exactly why we protect our oceans.
Anglesey, you’ve outdone yourself. ![]()
