Although the majority of our diving is done around the UK, it’s always nice to head somewhere warmer. BSAC qualifications are recognised world wide.
Practical Rescue Management
It’s that time of year again, as the colder weather sets in scuba diving in the sea isn’t possible so we spend our time running courses and diving at inland sites. We run a Practical Rescue Management (PRM) course once a year or so and here are a few video clips of the course in action.
The start of the day
A couple more casualties to be rescued
We won’t name names, but this is why you shouldn’t have a massive fry up and then go diving! Nothing like a real casualty to make things more interesting 🙂
Capernwray
Capernwray is a commercial dive centre, and a place go scuba diving frequently. You can find more information about Capernwray by clicking here

Lets go diving
PRM
Practical Rescue Management is one of the many BSAC skill development courses, we usually run this once a year.
The course involves a day of lectures and live saving skills followed by a practical day of managing rescue scenarios. As you can see from the pictures, it’s very hands on.

Unfortunately, ‘resussie Annie’ didn’t quite make it through the day unharmed
Wigan Pool
Mid Lancs meets every Tuesday night at Wigan Life centre. If you fancy popping down to see what goes on, we’re usually there between 8:00 and 9:30pm.
If you’d like to give a try dive a go, we need to organise it so drop us a line through Facebook or if you prefer email, the contact us tab
